D1 has a reputation for hosting fantastic shows and exhibitions which are exhilarating to watch for all the family. Whether you are a traditional racing fan, an enthusiast, or just looking for an interesting day out, the D1 will be there to please. Our events are as much shows as they are true motorsport events. Motorsport events can conjure images of a cold bleak grass bank, watching a car buzz past very 5 minute but not D1.
D1 is tailored to be an enjoyable day for all, with a carefully planned and busy time schedule, a fantastic line up of cars and drivers and a support paddock with something for all the family it is the place to be. With real opportunities to meet the drivers and sit in the cars, we break the mould of distant viewing motorsport. We understand your needs to be entertained and another area vital to our event is that we have crowd participation when a twin battle is difficult to decide on. What do we do when this happens, more often than not the judge/s ask you!
As well as the full line up of a 30+ car grid for D1 we have also lined-up the new and exciting Time Attack Series to take your fancy on the day. Running a grid of the countries most powerful tuned cars, some with power in excess of 800 bhp, all racing to prove that they are the quickest on circuit to hold the Time Attack record at each venue, it is a sure thing to see some spectacular action on track which makes BTCC look tame.

Alongside the on-track action we have a trade area for you to buy the latest D1 merchandise and DVD’s, talk to the top tuners in the UK, see there demo cars up close and seek out the next performance bargain for your car along with finding some entertainment for the kids. there will also be demonstrations courtesy of Santa Pod of the Jet Car 'Fire Force' with over 10,000, yes you read it right 10,000bhp under the drivers right foot!
We carefully plan out each day to ensure that it is action packed right up to the glamorous trophy presentation at the end of the event, so be sure to stick around and cheer on the winner, after all, the final is normally where the best cars gather, the pressure mounts and the most spectacular Drifting is found.
